The issue isn't, of course, what *I* would select, but that the list is
supposed to be about CR and has posting rules, to which a large share,
and perhaps the majority, of Al's posts clearly don't conform:

  they also don't conform to the "Trimming Article Lengths" rule, at both
extremes, which adds greatly to the 'firehose' and the 'looks
irrelevant' problem.

Rather, what I get is imposed on me and other List subscribers by Al's
lack of selectivity ...

Since we're ostensibly here to talk about CR, and not all the other
crap, the fact that (of course) SOMEONE is bound to find almost any
particular thing to be of interest (Alex Jones seems to have a quite 
comfortable little franchise going, eg) isn't the issue.
