[CRS_META] How often are the different archives being updated?

The archives at cal..org/archive are updated automatically. The way
it works is that there are special email address at cal..org which
subscribe to the lists. When a post is received by these email
addresses, a script is run which automatically inserts the post into
the archive.

The recent problem (no post since March 17) was due to cal..org being
down (hence could not receive the posts) then when it came up, some
DNS records were not configured which were needed to allow receiving
mail from the lists. Last night I fixed the DNS problems and I see
that now the archive is being populated again with new posts. So
things should be working from now on. At some point, a manual
operation will need to be done to import the posts that did not get
put in automatically.

For someone like myself who prefers to always read the list from the archives rather than receiving mail messages, the "private" archives are preferable for normal use because they seem to be much more up to date.]
