The messages I was talking about certainly seem to be.

At any rate, those messages are *presented* on individual web
pages - and there is an index that links to them all - and
so the lot can be indexed by a web spider - as the current
Google-based search tool on my site illustrates.

Right - it sounds as though other plans are already afoot.
I will stop contemplating this problem forthwith.
