Has anyone considered putting something like
PHPDig on the new archive site?

   http://www.phpdig.net/

This might be relatively easy - and of
some use.

Unified archives - if they arrive - are going to
benefit from a local indexing tool, and while a web
page spider seems a bit of a gross way of indexing
a mail archive, it may be better than nothing.
