[CRS_META] declined: crsociety - off-topic / big attachments

Meta,
We had a couple of submitted messages with large attachments that were
declined (2.6 MB and 8.7 MB). This is my off-list message regarding
those. There is no firm rule regarding message size, but since these
do not appear topical nor specifically addressed to the list, that
discussion can likely wait for another day.
The last email had videos, the first had funny looking cars which I
did enjoy seeing.

Regarding your last couple of messages, these have not been posted to
list because of the large attachments and off-topic nature of the
posts (presumably, I don't usually open video files, WMVs, at work).
Also, it is my assumption that any message with dozens of recipients is
not specifically meant for the list.
This is not a problem per se, I just did not know if you were expecting
these emails to be redistributed to list.
Any comments can be sent to myself off-list and list policy can be
discussed on the "Meta" list:
